Steps To Enable Dark Mode in Adobe Reader
Step 1: Open Adobe Reader with any PDF file.
Note: This will work only on Genuine PDF files, i.e this won't affect PDF books converted from images.

Step 2: From menu bar select Edit.
Step 3: From the drop-down list select Preferences. It's at bottom of all options.
Step 4: Now a new Windows will appear with lots of options. There from the left section select 'Accessibility'. This will show the related settings on the right section of 'Preferences' Window.
Step 5: There on right section first check the checkbox labeled 'Replace Document Color'. Doing it will enable the child checkboxes for editing.
Step 6: Now click on custom colors. Then select the black color by clicking the square color box against 'Page Background'. You may choose any color according to your comfort, but I prefer black for longer reading. You may also change the color of Document Text by clicking the next color-box.
