Welcome to RyberSoft, in this trick we will explore two simple methods to view the WiFi password of devices you have connected earlier. One method will use the command prompt to view the saved WiFi passwords of all your devices, whereas the second will be by using the control panel. The method that uses control panel can't view all the saved passwords rather it will show passwords of network you are currently connected to, and if you are currently connected to none this method won't work and you must go for the ugly looking powerful command prompt. As I said and believe uglier things are powerful, as you know command prompt, Kali Linux (previous versions), these all look not too interactive but have lots to do. OK let's back to the procedures.

How To Show Saved WiFi Passwords In Windows Using Command Prompt
As already mentioned in this method we will use the command prompt and type a few codes to get the list of all networks you have previously been connected to. If you are bored of black background of command prompt, try changing the background color of command prompt. There just select the one you want to view the password of. You will find it very easy if you use command prompt even rarely. So let's do it stepwise.
Step 1: First of all open command prompt with the administrator access. Hope you can do it, and if not just press windows button from the keyboard, search for command prompt, right click on the top icon and select 'Run As Administrator'. Click Yes when asked for admin permissions and you are done.
Read the symptoms of hacked WiFi.
Step 2: Now we have the command prompt opened with admin access, so type 'netsh wlan show profiles' and hit enter.
Step 3: Doing the previous step will show you the list of all WiFi devices you have ever connected to. There just type 'netsh wlan show profile name=profilename key=clear' here replace profilename with the name of WiFi device indicated in the list and hit enter. In My case, I am going to view password of one named 'Suryansh' so I will type 'netsh wlan show profile name=Suryansh key=clear', as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 4: As soon as you hit enter in the last step you will be listed with huge information about the specific WiFi connection. So go to ' Key Content' under 'Security settings' and next to it will be the security key for that WiFi network.
Learn to create a WiFi hotspot using your laptop without any router.
So that's how you may manually access the passwords using the command prompt. Some people may not feel comfortable with this process especially those who have very less experience with command prompt. Yet on trying a few times and following the steps carefully, you will do it easily.
How To View Password of Network You are Currently Connected To
This method is just like doing usual things in Windows environment. You will use the mouse to click a few buttons and you are done. But the only limitation of this method is that you can't view the passwords of networks you are not currently connected to. OK let's begin with the steps to view the security key.
Step 1: From any screen just right click on the network icon in the taskbar. There, two options will appear, you will click on 'Open Network and Sharing Center'.
Step 2: Next a new window will appear listing all your active networks. There you may see the WiFi network you are currently connected to. Just click on it to receive a new dialogue box.
Step 3: In the new dialogue box click on 'Wireless Properties'.
