Get Creators update
Hello, friends after a long break I am here with a great news - the most anticipating and fascinating update is released by Microsoft for Windows on April 11, 2017, and is available for non-insiders.
Here I will help you to get that update, but let me first introduce you to this update. The creators' update, codenamed "Redstone 2" is the major build after the Aniversary Update.
Its build number is 15063 and version tagged is 1703.
It was scheduled for an earlier release but Microsoft changed plans. Never the less it came with incredible features like -
I don't know your extent of excitement but I was very eagerly waiting for this update. So, let's start to know how to grab it.
As some of you know about the utility called Microsoft's Update Assistant. This utility is used for upgrading your version of Windows. It is of the size ~ 6 MB(at this size, it is the most exciting thing for our purpose). You have to download this from Microsoft's website and my friend, trust me this utility will serve you the best. If in case you're confused from where to grab this, here's direct link - Update Assistant.
But why Update Assistant? Have this question in your mind....keep reading
Your Windows feeels buggy... read this post......
Features of Microsoft's Update Assistant:-
1) Resume Support,
2) Fully Automated Interface,
3)Free from manual work of booting with 'iso' as in the case of Media Creation Tool.
4) Your files and apps will not be altered.
5) Can run in background
Downloaded Update Assistant! Quicker than I imagined. Proceed to next step.....
You're nearly done. Just launch this utility, rest it will do automatically. Firstly, it will download the required files and then ask you to perform a restart. The whole process will take around an hour and 45 minutes or so when your internet connection speed is throttling around 2.5 Mbps. If you can't afford this speed, sit patiently, minimise the assistant's window and do some productive work or you'll end up banging your head on PC's screen. In my case, I had a constant connection speed of 2.5Mbps but the problem that I faced was my connection was capped at 1 GB a day. One thing I forgot to tell you that this Creator's update will consume around 3.5 GB of your data. Then how I afforded this update? The update utility has given me resume support! Not directly but through a loophole. If you're in such a similar situation then just click 'cancel download' and again when your internet data is replenished restart Update Assistant. This works because when you click to 'cancel', the previously downloaded data is not deleted.
The Creators' update is far more stable than aniversary's update as I've found.
Hope you'll have your update. I welcome any queries regarding this in form of comments. Thanks and keep replenishing your thirst of cyber knowledge from RYBERSOFT.
