If you're a gamer then you must have faced this (missing
*.dll) type of error in your Windows PC. Each time you open the game and the
awkward message comes telling you that this and that .DLL file missing. Then
frustrated by, and considering running that game to beating head to the wall,
you just delete that game from your disk and also from you mind. Or, as a
better option you can also venture to tackle it by your own!! How?? That would
be not so difficult when you will follow me doing this.
So, first of all, a question arises (naturally!!) - What
is a *.dll file? DLL shouts for "Dynamic Link Library”.
Some apps basically, games come with their own set of
*.dll files as soon as you install them they paste these to the System 32
folder saving you from undesired work. Some games come with DirectX web setup downloader.
It is recommended that you should download DirectX from directxwebsetup.exe executable file and your
present necessity as well as your future problems regarding *DLL file will be solved
completely. This setup downloads all types of *.DLL files required
automatically from internet.
Alternatively, you can also download Dll fixer app from
its official site DLL-files.com. This app
automatically scans and fixes any errors of dll present on your system.
Or, you can also fix your specific DLL error manually,
Just note down the error showing in the message, open up
the website - DLL-files.com. Then search for
your *.DLL file in the site's search bar and download it to your PC.
Note: While downloading the file, always
select the right version i.e. 32 bit or 64bit. If you don’t know what version
you are running, right click on my computer/This PC>>Properties. In front
of the System Type tab, it is mentioned.
After
you download the zip file, extract it and save it in a convenient destination
folder. You will have the DLL file in that folder.
At
last just paste it to the System 32 folder,
(C:\Windows\System32) and your bug is finally fixed
now.
