We all know about the Incognito or Private mode of browsing. It provides a great sort of privacy at your PC level. We know that private browsing mode is not completely secure, yet incognito mode provides some cool features like no history, no cookies, no cache. It always helps me to avoid dynamic pricing. Steps To create an incognito mode shortcut for Google Chrome
In the case of Google Chrome, we will create a shortcut that will always open the browser in incognito mode.
Step 1: First, locate the shortcut you want to convert to incognito mode type. You may create a duplicate of the original shortcut i.e one for normal browser and second for incognito mode.
Step 2: Now right click the target shortcut and select properties.
TIP: We can also save browsing history in incognito mode.
Step 3: There you will find a textbox labeled 'Target' and textbox contain the location of the file that specific shortcut targets. There add -incognito to the end of the text in the Target box. That’s a space, one dash, and then the word incognito. Then click 'OK'.
Step 4: And WOW that shortcut will always open the browser in incognito or private browsing mode. The other shortcuts will open it in normal mode but you may change them to make them incognito mode shortcut as well.
To reset the things just remove the word incognito from the target to make it open normal browsing mode.
Steps To Set Private Browsing As Default Mode In Firefox or Nightly
In case Firefox browsers we may try two things, first create a shortcut to open the Private Browsing (so called by Firefox). , and second, we can set the settings to never remember the browsing history to enjoy similar privacy.
To Create a shortcut for Private Browsing in Firefox or Nightly
Follow the steps similar to chrome but only difference will be the word incognito replaced by private.
To set browser not to store any history first open the browser and click menu (three bars on top right corner). There select options.
Here switch to Privacy Tab. There you can see a drop down labeled 'Nighly will' or 'Firefox will' under History section. Click it to select 'Never remember history'.
And WOW you are set. You may be prompted to restart the browser. Just do it and enjoy anonymous browsing.
Steps To Set Private Browsing As Default Mode In Apple Safari
The Safari browser on macOS includes an option that allows you to always open it in private browsing mode. To find it, open Safari and click Safari > Preferences.
On the General pane, click the “Safari opens with” box and select “A new private window”. When you open Safari in the future, it will open in private browsing mode.
To undo this change in the future, return here and tell Safari to open with “A new window” instead.
Set Private Browsing As Default Mode In Vivaldi Browser
The steps to create the incognito mode shortcut is same as of Chrome.
Step 1: Right Click on the desktop icon of Vivaldi.
Step 2: Now, add -incognito in the target textbox and click on apply.

Set InPrivate Browsing As Default Mode In Edge Browser
The ability to always open Edge in InPrivate Browsing mode is one of the many features Microsoft Edge doesn’t yet offer or maybe I don't know about it. So if you know please help me in comment-box. Yet you can set edge to automatically clear all your browsing details everytime you close the browser. It's similar to Incognito mode in some terms. To set it to delete the History automatically:-
First Open Edge and press shortcut ''Ctrl' + H' to open history panel.
There click on clear all history and check all boxes that appear.
Now turn on the switch labeled 'Always Clear When I Close Browser'. And You are done.
Set InPrivate Browsing As Default Mode In Internet Explorer
If you’re using Internet Explorer, you will need to add a command-line option to your Internet Explorer shortcuts to activate InPrivate Browsing by default. The steps I have explained for Chrome are to be followed and the only difference will be to replace Incognito of chrome with private in Internet Explorer.
To undo this change in the future, edit your Internet Explorer shortcuts and remove the -private text you added from the target box.
