Steps To Keep Phone Charging With Laptop In Sleep Mode
Step 1:- Open Device Manager on your laptop. You can either right click on my computer icon to select device manager option or open it from Device and Printers Section of control panel.

Step 2:- Now in the Device Manager window, you will see the compete list of all devices on your machine categorised hierarchically. In the list just scroll down and expand the Universal Serial Bus Controller section. You will see some devices listed as ‘USB Root Hub‘.
Step 3:- Right click on the device named 'USB Root Hub' and select properties. Now you will see a familiar screen if you often go through such stuff but no need to worry if you don't as all you have to do is switch to 'Power Management' section. Now uncheck the checkbox labeled “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
And it's done now, to check it just plug in your phone data cable to USB to see your phone being charged.
