Hello friends, glad
to see you here on Rybersoft. I hereby to present you a new trick to forcefully
delete special files and folders through command prompt ; OMG!! what an app!!
So many uses of this app exists. If you are a regular visitor to Rybersoft you
will agree with me. Here in this trick, besides command prompt I will also
intoduce you to some other apps for this purpose.
So, now coming to
our topic - undeletable files and folders can sometime mean some system files
(= thumbs.db, desktop.ini), and folders like 'System Volume Information'. There
are several files also like one with worms, trojans, viruses etc. The former
are created and managed by system itself. So, don't proceed to delete it unless
you really feel to do so. Also these files are hidden the Windows Explorer asks
to delete it only when you delete a folder containing it along with other
files. Suppose, you want to delete a folder and you briskly used the shortcut
shift+delete........ But........ what's that a notification window asking you
confirm the deletion of thumbs.db(let). When you confirmed deletion, explorer
flashes a notification that this file is a system file (and is currently used
by the explorer) and can't be deleted. Exausted in deleting a thousand times,
now you find that the folder isn't deleted and is present with empty contents
(except that hidden file-thumbs.db). To delete a file of this type just follow
me...........
Firstly, open Command Prompt with
administrator priviledges( You do need administrator access to complete this
method). *To open it just right click on start
button present on the left corner and select "Command Prompt (Admin).
Enter this command for deletion of any type of file or folder;
DEL
/F /Q /A C:\\Users\\Your username\\The location of the file\\Name of the file
you want to delete.
Finished typing........... Press
carriage return key (enter key).
*As
soon as you press enter key the file specified will vanish.
Wanna like to do this with some
specialised apps. You've your lists underbelow.
**Some other apps for this purpose are as follows:
LockHunter
Unlocker
FileAssassian
