Importing a file from Windows to Bluestacks is quite an easy task and you can find a special app for this purpose in Bluestacks or you have to simply go to Settings and click on 'Import files from Windows.
But importing a file (let a .apk) file or your Whatsapp photos on Bluestacks to Windows is not so easy. You have to go through a series of complex steps.
First of all, install an app ES-File Explorer for this purpose or you can also use a pre-installed app in Bluestacks called Root Explorer. But here I will prefer ES File Explorer. Suppose you want to import your Whatsapp photos to Windows the open ES File Explorer.
Then click on SD-card storage present on the top. Then you will find a folder named Whatsapp click to open it. After that click on 'media' folder. Then open any of the two folders either your 'Whatsapp profile pictures' or 'Whatsapp images' as per you requirement. Copy your photos and go back to SD card storage folder menu, find a folder named "Windows" and open it. After opening it click to open "Bstshared folder". Paste your photos there.
The above procedure can be summarized as --
Open ES File Explorer>>Click on SD Card>>open Whatsapp folder>>then open Media folder>>then Open Whatsapp photos>>copy those photos>>Go back to SD card>>Open Windows Folder>>then Open BstsharedFolder>>Paste your photos there.
Now close Bluestacks go to 'This PC' Open the drive partition where your Windows is installed (By default its C drive). Find "Program Data" folder and open it (it is a hidden folder so you have to unhide it from Topmost ribbon bar>>view>>check the hidden item checkbox). After that open "Bluestacks" folder then find "User data" and open it. In the User data folder open "Shared folder" and your Whatsapp photos are there waiting for you.
Above process can be summarized as--
Open C: drive>>open Program Data folder>>then open Bluestacks folder>>open User data folder>>then open>>Shared folder and you have your photos there.
- In this way, you can import any of your Bluestacks Files to Windows.
