Hello friends, I think most of us have a PC and a smartphone as well. And very often we think if we could control one from the other. Here I am to discuss a trick which will be a step to this wish. Yup we are going to discuss how can you remotely shutdown your PC from your smartphone or any internet enabled phone using internet.
This method is based on a windows program that is designed to schedule shutdown your PC, but you can also use it as remotely shutdown program. You just need to follow some easy steps to shut down your PC using your smartphone so just proceed with below steps:-
Strep 1:- First let's deal with PC part of your work. Initially you need to download and install the application Airytech switch off. As you install it you can see shutdown icon in system tray.

Step 2:-Now click on the icon and tick the options there according to your need like and remember "Force shutdown" should be enabled.
Step 3:- Now right click on shutdown icon and click on setting and there click on remote section there. Under this section click on Edit Web interface Settings.
Step 4:- There enable Web interface and remain the Authentication unchecked and click on apply button.
Step 5:- Now click on view / update static addresses and note down the Shutdown URL from there. Here double click on shutdown icon in system tray and enable task.
Step 6:- Now it's time when you have to work on your phone. Here you will visit the URL noted from PC in any of the browsers but I would recommends to use Google chrome. For easy and frequent use, you can bookmark this URL in Your Mobile.
Step 7:- After visited the link you will see the interface as below. Here all you need to do is click on Shut Down button and your PC will shut down.
Note:- But remember while doing all this your PC must be connected to internet.
