Friends as usual I am back with another great trick for you.Today we are to change the sense of deleting a file file. Sound unusual but really I will show you how to recover the files deleted even from Recycle Bin. Actually deleting a file doesn't remove it from the storage device.
Those files exist at their original place until are overwritten by any other file. No problem if you failed to understand all above
as I am going to explain it on the lowest level of storage.
As everything in computers is processed as well as stored in form of series of bits i.e. in form of 0 or 1 in your hard disc. And the address of these series is stored in FAT (File allocation table) and when we delete a file the same address is removed from FAT making them accessible but doesn't remove it from the hard disc or Pen drive.
And here we are to use a software named Recuva to trace those unallocated series of bits and arrange them to recover the deleted files.
1. First download Recuva from Softonic or any other software sites. Then install it on your Windows machine. Now open recuva and you will be welcomed by a recovery wizard. Remember you may be asked for administrator permissions.
2. On first screen of your wizard you will see a check box you can check to avoid this wizard on start-up.
3. Click next to select the type of file you want to recover. You can check music, Pictures, Documents, Videos, Compressed Files, mails OR can select Others to scan all the files. After selection is finished click next.
4. Now you will be asked for file locations to be searched. You can browse to search customized folders OR select "I'm not sure" to search whole PC. Click next for next step.
5. Now we have finished the wizard and in this last step we are asked if to enable deep scan but this option is not recommended for first time as may take a long time. Now click next to perform the search.
6. In just few seconds search will complete displaying you a list of detected files with their recovery status if they can be recovered or are overwritten by any other file. Their check the files you have to recover and right click to select "Recover Checked" after which you will be asked to locate the place where the files are to be recovered. Your files will be recovered in few minutes or seconds depending on their size. Then a recovery summery will be displayed showing the details of recovered files.
